GOOD Morning America's Ginger Zee has been replaced by a fresh face on the morning show during the beloved meteorologist's break.

Somara Theodore is taking over for Ginger for a short time.

The host, 42, is taking an extended break from her position at Good Morning America to celebrate the holidays with her family.

Somara stepped in to handle Ginger's duties while she was away, and made an appearance during Wednesday's episode of the morning show.

She reported on the dangerous winter storm working its way across the country.

It's currently on the way to the East Coast, bringing heavy rain and flooding.

Now she's stepping away for a bit to enjoy the holiday season.

Somara will continue to handle Ginger's reporting role for the time being.

On Friday, fans took a look at one of Ginger's latest selfies and proclaimed her husband was lucky.

The meteorologist posted an Instagram photo on Friday and showed off her figure in her latest outfit for the live show.

Ginger posed with her hands on her hips for the sexy snap.

She wore a skin-tight buttoned white top which clung to her curves and showed off her toned figure.

The GMA presenter tucked the shirt into a tiny striped and pleated skirt which cut short above her knee.

Her long legs were on full display with sheer black tights on.

She completed the look with pointed black stiletto heels on her feet.

Her hair was curled and half was tied on the top of her head.

Ginger captioned the post: "Top knot time."

The weather presenter tagged the location in New York, where she filmed Friday's episode of GMA.

Fans flooded the comments with appreciation for the star.
